creative parties & private rentals

A creative party is a great way to celebrate a birthday, bridal shower, graduation, engagement or just to have a night out with friends!  We offer a variety of private classes and parties that not only help spark creativity but can also serve as an avenue for team building. 

Each party comes with an instructor ready to guide you through the project you choose.  Though longer parties can be arranged, the classes listed on this page come with an hour and a half of instruction and a half hour of meet and greet time.
All of our on-site parties occur in our spacious Alberta St Store's classroom.

Cost
Private parties on-site cost $20/student with a six student minimum.  A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of scheduling, with the remainder due the day of the event.

Glass Tile Pendants

Learn to make wonderful jewelry using glass tiles and beautiful imagery.  

Each guest makes three items.  Choose to make rings, pendants or both.

Scrabble Tile Pendants

Learn the secrets of scrabble tile pendants, including how to

get your piece to dome!  Each guest makes four pendants.

Match Box Shrines

Create mini shrines using paper, imagery and mixed

media ephemera.  Each guest makes two shrines

Collaged Tags Dipped in Beeswax

Collage beautiful tags using decorative paper and imagery, then dip them into

beeswax for a wonderful, translucent finish.  Each guest makes four tags.

Vintage Button Rings

Create beautiful layered rings from fabulous

vintage buttons.  Each guest makes three rings.

Mini Accordion Book

Learn the basics of bookmaking while creating a mini accordion

book.  With a ribbon tie closure it’s the perfect book for jotting

notes or gluing in photos.  Each guest makes one book.

Feather Earrings

Learn to layer feathers and create amazingly beautiful

earrings.  Each guest makes three pairs of earrings.

Soy Wax Candles

Learn to melt and pour soy wax to make beautiful and long

lasting candles.  Each guest makes two candles.

Domino Tile Pendants

Learn to make dominoes into wearable art.  Using beautiful imagery

you will create striking pendants.  Each guest will make three pendants.

Artist Trading Cards

Come collage, paint and draw small ATC’s that you can trade with

fellow artists at the end of the party! Each guest makes three ATC’s.

Glass Slide Pendants

Learn to use thin glass and beautiful imagery to create double

sided pendants that are wrapped in metal foil tape for a

fantastic finish.  Each guest makes three pendants.

Other crafting and fine arts classes are available upon request.
